Transforming lives, strengthening communities

KKFI believes that education provides better opportunities thus it provides alternative education to out-of-school youth aged 13-24 years old.

This program proved to be effective in protecting and preventing youth from engaging into substance abuse and other related violence, child labor, human trafficking, early pregnancy and other forms of abuse and exploitation.

Through the direct interaction with the parents of the learners, good and respectful relationship among the instructional managers, students and community are established. It has also increased coordination and collaboration among churches, barangays, parents and other community members to plan and implement child-focused community programs.

We continue to partner with the Department of Education in Manila that provides volunteer teachers and technical assistance.

For School Year 2019-2021 we have 169 enrollees from Manila North Cemetery, Tondo, Navotas and Pulilan
